Tell us when you book that it is a flat, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, because several of the older Harrow blocks have a lift too small to take a full-size appliance lying flat. We also need the buzzer answered at the time of the visit, or the entry code, fob or concierge arrangement sorted in advance, otherwise the slot is spent standing outside.
Where will you park when you come to Harrow town centre?
It depends on your street, because parking is controlled across most of the centre. Around Station Road, St Ann’s Shopping Centre and Harrow on the Hill station we often leave the van a few minutes’ walk back and carry the toolbag in. If the worktop has been sealed down onto the machine, or a later floor has been laid up to its feet, mention that first.
