A phone call when we set off is part of that arrangement. If you are in a flat, say which number to ring at the entryphone, and if the entrance sits on a different frontage from the postal address, that is worth a sentence too.
At the worktop itself the work is usually quick. A single dead zone is generally its own element or a spade connector that has let go on ceramic, or the induction module sitting beneath that ring. Every zone dead at the same moment moves the search to the incoming supply, the board or the touch panel.
