What we actually are
A small, independent operation. Not a franchise, not a call centre that subcontracts the work to whoever is nearest, and not tied to any manufacturer. When you ring the number on this site you are talking to the business that turns up.
Fast Fix Appliances is the trading name of K I LOGISTICS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 13356137. That record is public and takes about twenty seconds to check, which is exactly why we link to it rather than printing a badge we drew ourselves.
Being independent cuts both ways
It means nobody tells us to quote for a part when a clean and a re-seat would do, and it means we will say plainly when a machine is not worth the money. It also means we are not an authorised repairer for any brand, and we do not pretend otherwise anywhere on this site.
Why there are no photographs of us
Engineers here are anonymous by choice. You will not find names, headshots or invented biographies on this site, because none of that tells you anything checkable about whether your washing machine gets fixed. What we publish instead is the price, the guarantee and its limits, the insurance cover, and the list of work we do not take on.
The parts of the job people ask about
We work on electric domestic appliances in people’s homes — freestanding, built-in and integrated. Every visit is £80, labour is included on most repairs, and parts are quoted before we fit them. Anything we replace carries a 3-month guarantee on that part.
We carry £2 million public liability insurance.
