So a wash-only machine is usually an airflow, scale or sensing problem rather than a dead heater, and the work runs in that order: ventilation and housing first, then the condenser channel and the sump, then the heaters, thermostats and sensors. Where the drying side has scaled beyond sensible recovery we will say it at the kitchen door instead of fitting a part that changes nothing.
